NFT Art Project: Comfort Animals

Hey! Mytth here and I wanted to give you all an update on what I've been working on in 2021. This year has been a busy one. I ended last school year with distance learning and started this one back on campus as a high schooler. I had a lot of anxiety about going back in person, but it turns out it's not so bad. It is now near the end of the first semester, and I've dedicated some time to refocus on my art.

Here's what I'm currently working on--I just minted my first nft in a collection I created called Comfort Animals on Proton. You're probably thinking what are Comfort Animals? They are animal characters that live in the land of Mytthica. Each of them has their own stories that provide positivity, comfort, or support for others. Hana the helping hippo is the first release in this series because her story is similar to my own. Aannddd I love hippos. I plan to release a new character each month until my collection is complete.

This art project is intended to put a little bit of positivity into a negative world. I feel that the media (both social and news media) can be bothersome. My hope is that Comfort Animals become characters people can relate to and enjoy.
